HOWDY, I’m Red. I was born and raised in this little treasure trove called Dallas. My family still lives in the Historical District, the same home I was brought to from the hospital when I was just a little Red.

My reason for starting this site is simple: to encourage the cultivation of local talent and culture within this wonderful city. This idea is by no means new. In the 1st Century AD, Seneca wrote, “As the soil, however rich it may be, cannot be productive without cultivation, so the mind without culture can never produce good fruit.”

The Lower Greenville District is particularly near and dear to me.  Having grown up only a seed’s spit away, I feel the revival of this historically rich area has been long a-comin’.

So, why should you care? Well dammit, this is your city too! Dallas has got to get into the habit of reinvesting in the culturally unique areas that are the beating heart of this land.
